Journal post no. 5: Mouse in the house part 2

Hey guys welcome to my 5th journal post! Todays journal post is part 2 of my mouse story!

After releasing the baby mice we set the trap up again to see if there were anymore mice we could catch. We all kept on checking the trap constantly but there was never anything there.

But one morning I was reading in bed and heard my mum scream. I rushed out of my room into the kitchen and asked my mum what had happened, she told me she saw a mouse in the trap and she was right! If you guys have read my about page you would know I started an animal club and every Tuesday we all get together to play and plan. It was Tuesday and I thought… what if me and my friends walked down to the lake and released the mouse! When I told my friends at school they thought it was a great idea, and after 6 hours of school (boredom) my mum came and picked us up and took us home. We had afternoon tea then walked in pouring rain with 2 umbrellas all the way down to the lake to release the little mouse.

 Me and my mum released it together and then me, my mum and my friends walked back up to our house! It was an eventful afternoon and afterwards we just played and had fun! I hoped you guys enjoyed part 2! and don’t miss my next journal post which will be coming out soon!
